A new sub-account has
been opened at the Bank for receiving alimony payments
The account is intended
for receiving alimony payments for the support of minor children and persons
who are unable to work. It can be opened by individuals who are residents of
the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Account features
Funds held in the alimony
account are protected from seizure and collection. The following actions are
not permitted in respect of these funds:
- seizure of funds;
- suspension of outgoing transactions
on the account;
- collection of funds based on
collection orders issued by authorized state authorities;
- submission of payment claims by second-tier banks.
Documents required to
open the account
To open the account, a
citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan must provide:
- an identity document of the alimony
recipient;
- an application specifying the purpose
of the current account;
- a copy of the court decision on the
recovery of alimony or a copy of a notarized agreement on the payment of
alimony concluded in accordance with the Code of the Republic of
Kazakhstan “On Marriage (Matrimony) and Family.”
Payments that can be
credited to the account
- alimony payments made on the basis of
enforcement documents;
- alimony payments made in accordance with
a notarized agreement on the payment of alimony;
- voluntary alimony payments made by the alimony payer.
The account may be closed
at any time upon the client’s request.
