APPLICATION CONDITIONS FOR THE EXAM TO HIRE ASSISTANT SPECIALISTS

We hereby announce that exams will be held for the recruitment of Assistant Specialists to be appointed to the overseas branches/subsidiaries of our bank.

Countries where recruitment is planned: Germany, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Algeria, Georgia, Iraq, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Uzbekistan, Russia, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, and Greece.

Upon completion of the Ziraat Bank’s Banking School program, which is an integral tradition of Turkey’s 100-year history, Assistant Specialists will be eligible to start working in their respective countries.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The place of employment will be the country of which the candidate is a citizen. Therefore, when submitting an application, the selected citizenship and the country of employment must be the same.
• The exam consists of two stages: a written exam and an interview. Both the written exam and the interview will be conducted in Turkish.
• The written exam will be held online in the form of a multiple-choice test, and candidates will be informed of the details via email.
• Since both the written exam and the training will be conducted in Turkish, candidates are expected to have a strong command of the Turkish language (reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking).
• Candidates who successfully pass the written exam will proceed to the second stage — the interview. The interview will be conducted by the Turkish Ziraat Bank.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be a citizen of the country from which the application is submitted;

2. Date of birth must be January 1, 1995 or later (must be at least 18 years old);

3. Must not have any criminal convictions under the laws of Türkiye and the candidate's country of citizenship;

4. Must not have been involved in any of the following, even if pardoned: serious imprisonment or imprisonment of more than 6 months, crimes against state authority, embezzlement, misconduct, bribery, theft, fraud, breach of trust, smuggling, crimes that undermine personal dignity or honor such as bankruptcy or smuggling, interference in official tenders, money laundering, disclosure of state secrets, tax evasion or attempt to evade taxes, or involvement in such crimes;

5. Must not be prohibited from working in banks under the laws of Türkiye and the country of citizenship;

6. Must not have any physical or mental health conditions that could prevent them from fulfilling continuous service domestically or abroad, as certified by a neuropsychiatric institution;

7. For male candidates: must have completed, postponed, or been exempt from compulsory military service (if such service is required);

8. Must have graduated from or be in the final year of one of the following faculties of universities and colleges offering a four-year education, with documented proof of graduation by June 2025:

Fields of study include: economics, business administration, finance, public administration, labor economics and industrial relations, international relations, law, banking, finance, accounting, international finance, trade and banking, insurance and risk management, capital markets, business information management, business administration and management information systems, or faculties related to banking or communications, econometrics, statistics, actuarial science, mathematics, mathematics and computer science, physics, agricultural business and economics, agricultural trade and management, agricultural economics, industrial engineering, business engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, energy systems engineering, food engineering, agricultural machinery and technology engineering, computer engineering, psychology, architecture, or equivalent faculties of foreign universities recognized by the relevant authorities;

9.      Since the Banking School training will take place in Türkiye, candidates must not be subject to any travel restrictions to Türkiye during the training period.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Selected candidates will be assigned to subsidiaries or branches in their respective countries. Recruitment under this exam does not include positions at Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. branches located in the Republic of Türkiye.
• If the information provided in the resume does not meet the application requirements for the exam, the application will not be accepted.
• Applications from candidates who do not meet the required qualifications or who provide false information will be considered invalid.
• Candidates who provide false or misleading information are deemed to have accepted full responsibility and will be held accountable for any damages caused to the Bank as a result of employment based on inaccurate or false declarations.

WRITTEN EXAM

• The application system will be open from July 16, 2025, and after the application deadline on August 3, 2025, an online exam will be administered to eligible candidates according to the distribution of questions outlined below. Therefore, it is very important to provide accurate contact information during the application process. Candidates who are eligible to apply will be informed about the exam date.
• The written exam will consist of three sections as shown in the table below. The exam will be held in a single session, with a total of 100 questions and a total duration of 120 minutes.

INTERVIEW

• Candidates who successfully pass the written exam will be notified of the interview date via email.
• Candidates who are not citizens of the country to which they are applying, who do not meet the stated criteria, or who provide false information will be disqualified, even if they pass the written exam and/or the interview.
