       From 13 January 2025, AB ‘Kazakhstan-Ziraat International Bank’ JSC, along with other banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will switch to the international standard of financial messages ISO 20022 (hereinafter - the standard).
 This standard was created to automate business processes and is actively implemented by financial institutions around the world, providing a common format and structure for the transmission of financial data.
Adoption of ISO 20022 will improve the accuracy, speed and security of settlements, as well as simplify settlements with international counterparties.
Please take into account the following order of execution of payment documents in tenge by the Bank at the time of transition to the new standard:
- 10 January 2025 payment documents are accepted for execution in MT format in standard mode until 17:00 Astana time;
- from 13 January 2025 payment documents are accepted for execution in the new format MX from 09:00 hours Astana time.

It is important to note that for individuals the transition to the international standard does not affect payments and transfers by cards. The Bank's customers will be able to make payments with payment cards, make mobile transfers by phone number, pay by QR codes, withdraw cash from ATMs without hindrance. These operations will be carried out by the Bank in the standard mode.
The changes will also not affect payments in foreign currency.
For legal entities, the transition to the new standard means that new requirements must be followed when making payments. Please note the following points:

- the new standard of payment messages includes new fields ‘Actual payer’, ‘Actual beneficiary’, ‘Residency country code’. The fields about the actual payer or recipient do not need to be filled in if they coincide with the sender and recipient.

- The field ‘Residency country code’ should be filled in only if the recipient or sender of the payment is a non-resident.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
